ABOUT THIS PHOTOGRAPH
First, I love that the women are called Dudes. Second, I truly enjoy researching and working on finding references for old cars. This Chevrolet Special Deluxe sold for between $769-$995 in 1941. 602,113 were manufactured. The year's model offered a completely new body; safety steps replaced the running boards; and you could also get a shortwave radio as an option. – Deborah Humphries

The Past as It Was
We honour the past by restoring historical images to the same quality as the day they were created. To serve the artist’s intent, we remaster, reconstruct, sharpen, colour-correct, colorize and enlarge their image with total devotion to historical authenticity. That makes your print a window to the past as it was. See for yourself.
