ABOUT THIS PHOTOGRAPH
Olympia's Tour is the Netherlands oldest cycle race, with a long history in Dutch cycling. First staged in 1909 the race traditionally attracts talented young cyclists, serving as a platform for emerging riders to showcase their skills.
The 1966 edition was won by Dutch road cyclist Petrus Antonius Aegidius Gerardus "Piet" Legierse. He later went on to win one stage of Tour de Luxembourg in 1970 before retiring in 1973.– Gareth Evans
