Egon Schiele: The Nervous Line
“Fierce, passionate and determined, none of these women is quite what they seem.”
-
In collaboration with Unseen Histories, award-winning author Sophie Haydock invites you into the charged, intimate world of Egon Schiele. This curated collection of prints presents the artist not only as a master of line and form, but as a radical observer of the human condition — raw, restless, and unflinchingly honest.
-
“As a feminist reworking of Schiele's story, and as an exercise in redressing historical injustice, this novel is a glorious success. Haydock ensures that these women emerge from behind Schiele's gaze, and she also uses them to illuminate a period of seismic change.”

About the Collection
Curated by Sophie from her acclaimed Instagram archive @egonschieleswomen, this collection honours the women who shaped Egon Schiele’s radical gaze. Each museum-quality print has been carefully remastered to reflect the raw intimacy and expression of the original works. At Unseen, our guiding principle was simple: preserve their defiance, their vulnerability, and their presence — just as they once faced the artist’s eye.
-
About our Prints
Each print in this collection is produced in England with uncompromising attention to detail. Printed on archival-grade fine art paper with a subtle satin finish, the texture captures the depth and intensity of Schiele’s line work and tonal contrasts. To affirm its provenance, every edition is hand-embossed during the final stage of finishing, and shipped with with an accompanying Certificate of Authenticity.
